In the role of Engineer – Development and Test, you’ll work closely with engineers, technicians and customers to design, build, and execute testing for electro-mechanical and electrified powertrain systems of all kinds. Equally at home getting your hands dirty and applying analytical skills, you will find fulfillment in bridging that traditional gap.
As an Engineer you will apply and develop your technical knowledge, immediately contributing to the successful delivery of interesting and challenging projects for a wide variety of customers, markets and sectors. You may also be responsible for the successfully deliver your own small projects. Generating and maintaining relationships with customers at an appropriate level.
What you will need
Degree educated in mechanical, electrical or control system engineering or related discipline OR equivalent demonstrable experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Application of technical knowledge and experience to provide innovative engineering solutions to meet a variety of customer requirements
- Use of and proficient in appropriate software related to your engineering background
- Support senior technical staff in complex development and test activities
- Support FMEA reviews
- Prepare test plan and specifications
- Specify test rig requirements including instrumentation and fixture tooling
- Plan and co-ordinate suppliers and external testing
- Specify and prepare data logging equipment, instrumentation and wiring requirements
- Supervise technicians with build, test and measurement procedures and supporting documentation
- Calibrate instrumentation
- Conduct and provide instructions for testing
- Running the rigs and test execution
- Generate test results, analyze data and compile test reports
- Present and communicate technical and commercial information, clearly and concisely, both internally and to customers
- Take an active role in the continuous improvement initiatives within the Development and Test function
- Where appropriate, undertake Project Lead role; leading a small project team to deliver a successful project outcome; from both a technical and commercial perspective
